How it works

From call to broadcast.

Your PC does the rendering and encoding. Huddle coordinates who can do what. Your friends stay in the call they’re already in.

Four steps

Live in minutes.

01

Sign in with Huddle

Use the Huddle account you already have. No new account, no new password.

02

Bring in your crew

Pull voices and consenting screen shares from your Huddle call, plus your own displays, game and camera.

03

Build the show

Lay out scenes, mix every voice on its own fader, and invite a producer to run it from another PC.

04

Go live everywhere

One encode fans out to Twitch, YouTube, Kick and custom RTMP — and records locally as it goes.

The signal path

Where your show travels.

Media and control are kept apart: video goes from your PC to the platforms, while Huddle handles permissions and state.

01

Huddle call

Your crew is already talking. Each person’s voice, and any screen they choose to share, can become its own source.

Consent per sourceComing
02

Host PC

Huddle Stream composites scenes and mixes audio on your machine, then encodes once with your GPU.

03

Huddle control plane

Coordinates roles, producer commands, your plan’s limits and every destination’s state, in real time.

04

Destinations

One program, sent to Twitch, YouTube, Kick and custom RTMP or SRT — each reconnecting on its own if it drops.

Roles

Everyone gets exactly enough.

Permissions are enforced on Huddle’s servers, not just hidden in the app.

Host

Host

Owns the production and the PC that renders it.

  • Builds scenes and the mix
  • Invites producers and collaborators
  • Stops the whole show
  • Sees anyone else’s stream key
Producer

Producer

Runs the show from another PC. No voice call, no paid plan needed.

  • Switches scenes and POVs
  • Adjusts each person’s audio
  • Starts or stops approved outputs
  • Sees or changes stream keys
  • Touches payouts
Collaborator

Collaborator

Streams the shared show to their own channel (Platinum and Pro, coming).

  • Adds and owns their destination
  • Approves it for one production
  • Leaves without ending the show
  • Changes another creator’s channel

When things go wrong

The show keeps going.

If a destination dropsOnly that one reconnects. Every other platform and the recording carry on.
If the producer’s laptop closesNothing changes on air. The producer reconnects and picks up where they left off.
If you revoke a producerTheir pending commands are cancelled and new ones are refused, instantly.
If the app crashes mid-recordingRecordings are written in short segments, so finished footage is never lost.
If free time runs lowWarnings at 30, 10 and 1 minute left; at zero outputs stop cleanly and the recording is saved.
If someone withdraws consentTheir screen or voice leaves the program at once.
